The Cuyahoga Heights Local Schools Transportation Department has a total of seven regular, contracted drivers. Our Mechanic, Bart Hahn, maintains our buses. The goal of transportation department is to transport your children to and from school, as well as to school events and activities in the safest, most efficient way possible.

What is a Nonpublic School Transportation Request?

Ohio law requires school districts to transport resident students to a “school of attendance” that is a chartered nonpublic or community school located within 30 minutes from the assigned public school. In some cases, districts may find this impractical and offer a payment in lieu of transportation instead.

Please complete the request form if you are requesting transportation for a student for the first time

If you are a resident of the Cuyahoga Heights Local School District (Cuyahoga Heights, Brooklyn Heights or Valley View) and your child(ren) will be NOT be attending school at Cuyahoga Heights Schools but WILL be attending at a nonpublic or community school and you would like to request transportation from Cuyahoga Heights Schools.

Please DO NOT complete the request form if you requested transportation from Cuyahoga Heights Schools for this student last year

If you have already requested transportation for this student for LAST school year, a new contract for this school year will be sent to the email address that you have provided and at that time you will be able to update any information.
